Plus, and here’s the big one… when you’re all alone, sitting in a dark room wondering why your business is failing, there is only one true thing to power you forward and turn it into a success — you believe in your purpose, your why.

Look for opportunities to reach your target market through speaking events, guest blogging and collaborations with other businesses.

Use your faith in your vision and your passion, to stay focused on the prize. To successfully run your own business, you must be able to prioritise, set your own schedule, meet your own deadlines and always believe that you can achieve greatness by just taking that next step forward.
But remember to get help when you need it. When you are busy, it’s easy to lose focus. Setting the goal is the easy part. Staying focused and being accountable to the process of achieving the goal is the hard part.
We often hear the words 'The first step is the hardest', but those of us working everyday in our businesses know the truth. It's Not! Every step is hard. Staying motivated, true to our dreams and not leaving work everyday in a straitjacket is not easily managed. If we just focus on one step at a time instead of the top of the staircase we can handle and enjoy the everyday. The top of that staircase will get closer, just don't stop.
